All the Games Announced at the PlayStation 5 Reveal

The PlayStation 5 reveal took place on June 11th and here are all of the game reveals from that show.

Horizon: Forbidden West
This is Horizon 2 and the sequel to Horizon: Zero Dawn. There is no release date yet.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales
It’s still not clear if this is a sequel or expansion, there are different news sources saying both for now. However, it will be releasing Holiday 2020.

Gran Turismo 7
No release date was provided.

Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart
A brand new game in the series with the reveal including pre-alpha gameplay showing off dimension jumps and combat.

Demon’s Souls Remake
No release date has been given but Demon’s Souls have been rebuilt from the ground up. It will be a PlayStation exclusive but no release date was provided.

Death Loop
The next game from Arkane Studio was announced at E3 last year during the Bethesda conference but the gameplay has been revealed at the PS5 event. It will be a PlayStation 5 console exclusive but will also get a PC release.

Hitman 3
IO Interactive has announced the next installment in the Hitman series will be coming in January 2021 for PlayStation 5.

Ghostwire: Tokyo
This game was announced at E3 2019 during the Bethesda event but we’ve finally got a better look of what the mysterious game actually is. This was not an announcement but finally  gameplay reveal instead. It will be a console exclusive for PlayStation 5.

Godfall
We’ve finally been given a look at the gameplay of Godfall, the upcoming game from Gearbox. It will release for Holiday 2020.

Stray
Announced for PlayStation 5, the game is set in a world where humans are extinct and Earth is now populated with robots instead. Players will become a stray cat living in this world. It will release in 2021.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits
Action-adventure game from Ember Labs and already confirmed to be a PS5 console exclusive. The trailer reveals gameplay and a glimpse into the story.

Resident Evil 8: Village
The next Resident Evil game will be releasing in 2021 and the trailer also reveals the story has an interesting twist.

NBA 2K21
Unsurprisingly, EA let Sony announce the next NBA game during the event.

Sackboy: A Big Adventure
A new game from the Little Big Planet series with a different gameplay style. It’s a co-op 3D platformer with different challenged to overcome. No release date has been announced.

Oddworld Soulstorm
No release date has been provided yet but the trailer gives a good look at the story and has some gameplay footage.

Bugsnax
From the developer of Octodad comes a brand new comedic adventure with food-insect hybrids that constantly say their own name.

Pragmata
We didn’t learn much about this game from the reveal but Capcom will be releasing this in 2022.

Little Devil Inside
No release date has been provided yet but this game looked quite interesting and the trailer gives it some character.

Returnal
The trailer gives a clear picture of the story and is most cinematic but also has some gameplay scenes too. No release date yet.

Destruction Allstars
A new PvP game was announced. This one is a destruction derby style game but there is no release date right now.

Project Athia
Designed exclusively for PlayStation 5, there is no release date yet.

Goodbye Volcano High
A 2D cinematic narrative adventure, Goodbye Volcano High is about the end of an era and the start of a new low story. The game will release in 2021.

Jett: The Far Shore
There is limited information at the moment about the type of gameplay we can expect from this game but it seems to be players will need to carve out a new future for a space faring people.

Solar Ash
From the developer of Hyper Light Drifter, it appears to be an action-adventure game though we didn’t get to see much gameplay for this. Solar Ash will be getting a 2021 release.

Astro’s Playroom
The trailer is almost entirely gameplay and it was revealed this will come pre-loaded on PS5. The four worlds are based on the different console components of the new PlayStation 5 controller which is a great way to learn how to use the new device.
